WOW: War of the Lions #4 in US Charts, Star Wars #7

It’s no surprise that Final Fantasy is massively popular in the United States (along with the world), but it’s a big surprise to see what’s virtually a port land #4 on the US videogame charts this week. Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions battled soccer players, Luke Skywalker, and some racing vehicles to earn the second highest-debut atop the US charts this week. In fourth place amongst debuts and seventh amongst all games was Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron. Maybe Tactics won’t sell a million copies stateside, but this strong performance means that Square Enix should at least consider hurrying the US version of Crisis Core and Dissidia soon enough.
