REWIND: Halloween 2006

REWIND: Just as the sudden LocoRoco buzz had died down, we received shocking news of a new demo on the horizon. Our first thoughts were clearly that SONY was just getting started with the franchise, and treading new waters too. The Halloween demo was sweet and all, providing some good challenges to those who sped through the game and completed it over a few hours. Our impressions were nothing but positive, but beyond the joy of the game, the demo instilled hope that more was to come–maybe demos, but maybe something bigger like a sequel, spin-off, or store to purchase games/demos. So far, we’re 2 for 3.

I agree, I was excited about the new challenge, but still the biggest challenge in a LocoRoco level has to go to the fourth American UMD demo, the forest demo. Aaah, I remember when I finally found the last berry, of course, it took plenty longer to get all twenty LocoRoco without losing any or stumbling upon the instant Game Over glitch in the area with the spinning vine though. But yes, this was a good challenge.
