Teh Confirmed!: God of War PSP Coming Soon

You might want to consider NOT throwing away your PSP just yet. Kratos must be happy, because he’ll be mobilized come later this year for God of War PSP. Little details are known about this, but we previously posted an article speculating and then confirming/speculating again. All of this blog build-up of rumors and speculation might have led to an early confirmation. That’s, yet again, speculation, but it’s always great to do this, right?

Joystiq 1Up had a very nice break-down at exactly what might/may/will be included on the game come later this year when its released (in addition to news on the PS3 version, which does include support for rumbling!). This includes information that ReadyatDawn (who helped to produce the original and its sequel) WILL in fact be producing this game. Additionally, the developers are working out new ways to play the game because of the lack of a second analog nub. In addition, they’re expecting the game to be slightly different in terms of level development, but nobody has any clue right now about the storyline and whether it will be a port-like game or a new experience.

In ways of PS3 news, there was more to report. God of War 3 will be a PS3-exclusive, and will include 1080p support, rumble support, and have support for motion. All of these features will mean that this will be a full-fledged PS3 game. The developers aren’t skipping anything to ship this game. I like this a lot; despite the fact that content and games will be somewhat dry at the beginning, SONY and its third-party developers will be delivering in the end. At least some promising news for PS3 owners and potential PS3 owners.
