MGS-Effect Helping to Move PSPs in Japan

The weekly hardware sales are always addictive, but most recently, the PSP hasn’t been doing all that too well so we forgave & forgot about them. Now, though, it is bragging time. Even though the PSP will need fifteen stellar MGS and Gundam sequels/ports/remakes to beat the DS, they are still pushing over 100K consoles a week thanks to Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. The game has been deemed a success in Japan and hopefully, it will continue to sell like crazy and influence Konami to make sequels of MGS and bring other games to the PSP.
