So when are you planning the non-PS3 PSOne Emulator, SONY?

You promised a CONNECT service that did not come. You made us think a PSOne emulator was coming for the PSP and not only if you owned a PS3. You tricked us with a good advertising gimmick. Will you disappoint yet again, SONY, by not giving us a non-PS3 PSOne emulator?

I felt let down after finding out that PSOne games that were expected to make their debut on the PSP this fall had a down payment–of $600. This was not only depressing, but it angered me, because I actually had hope. If SONY wants to reinvigorate the thousands of PSP owners who’ve abandoned their handhelds for other new devices, then they should highly consider coming out with a Playstation Network for the PSP that also makes use of a PSOne emulator that will allow for downloadable games to the PSP to be played later. This will encourage people who rarely use their memory stick to upgrade. Isn’t this a good thing for you, SONY?

I’m sure that a non-PS3 PSOne emulator is coming soon, but it makes me wonder how long it’ll take SONY to realize exactly what we want.
