Kotaku’s Misleading Post, and Then This…

After gman helped us to understand that Kotaku was misleading the mass by running a post saying “Japan hates LocoRoco”, a beautiful write-up touting LocoRoco comes straight from the blog. It looks like two different writers wrote each topic, but it does come mysteriously so that three days after both gman and we posted topics on their misleading post, that Kotaku would run such an article. The joyful article goes on to say:

The level layout, while visually simplistic, become very ingenious as you progress through the game. I almost felt as if I was playing a surreal version of Super Mario Bros. The game has that sort of fun, pure-gaming feel to it. As you continue the lengthy game more and more tricks and twists are introduced to this basic element of rolling from side to side.

In this post, they almost seem to “forget” their previous post. Not once do they mention [what they believe to be] the bad sales in Japan. Interesting; we’ll watch.

Today, another blog, talks about SONY’s PSP2. Even though we know that SONY is years away from announcing a replacement, Gizmodo is already looking forward to the future. They talk about hardware, mostly, such as adding a built-in hard drive, support for SD cards, and more. This comes especially after a (quite) impressive showing of SONY’s latest multimedia player, mylo. People who commented mentioned the lack of good games for the PSP, though many say that could easily change when LocoRoco arrives. This game is gonna definitely be big.
