Final Fantasy-Remake US Box Covers Look Stellar

Thankfully, we’re finally seeing a bit of Final Fantasy on the PSP this June and July. It will start off with Final Fantasy I, a remake of the original version. In all its majestical 8-bit graphics, the box cover is shown to the far left. This game was clearly the classic that started it all and it will soon be available.
Second up is Final Fantasy 2 in July, which will receive a TEEN rating from the ESRB, thanks to better graphics and perhaps a more graphic storyline. While both are indeed remakes, they are still a closer step to seeing an original Final Fantasy (ahem, Crisis Core) on the PSP–which Japan could see the 2nd half of this year. It’s great to see that these box covers look stellar and original.

Indeed, PaRappa is FINALLY headed to the US
We hyped PaRappa the Rapper, which came to the PSP last December in Japan, but were disappointed to find out that the port would not make it to the US last year. Finally, though, the quirky game makes its way to the PSP this July and screens as of now looks pretty good. Thankfully, there is ad-hoc head-to-head battles, a digital distribution system to download more levels, and a game-sharing feature to share a demo with another PSP user without this great game. It will arrive sometime around July of this year, and we’re hoping that SONY will sell it for a budget price ($30, maybe?). Enjoy!
