The PSP racing category hasn’t really seen an interesting game since Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition or Need for Speed: Carbon hit last year. Fortunately for the PSP, there’s another one to finally add to the list: Test Drive Unlimited is the PSP-vert of the hit 360 game that pushed the barrier last year. Unlike other racers, this is the world’s first MOORG (or massively online open racing game). And that’s possibly what makes it such a fun game. (more…)

Anything on the Horizon for the PSP Right Now?
Droughts traditionally occur when there’s a lack of water. Video game droughts occur when there’s a lack of original/unique/good games. The PSP is going through exactly that. After burning through Ratchet & Clank, Metal Gear Solid, Sonic Rivals, and even the pretty decent Prince of Persia, there’s nothing left (unless you just love Pimp My Ride that much) for you to gloat about to your DS fans. This is truly a drought. Our Previewrama feature has been able to discover new and upcoming games that will bring the PSP to domination, but none of these games are expected in the first half of this year. This is horrible and truly why many people have considerably doubted the PSP. And everything past Q2 looks okay. SONY said that they’re not giving up on the PSP. If they’re not, they’re going to need a whole slew of games better than what you can expect this first-half of 2007. And the drought begins…
