SONY’s critically-acclaimed wonder, LocoRoco, has been in the running for major awards. Not only has it broken records for possibly the best PSP game (I wonder if GameSpot is regretting their “7.7″ right about now?), but it has also beat out the majority of the best-selling DS games (New Super Mario Bros., Brain Training, etc.) in terms of nominations. Now, LocoRoco gets a nom from the Yellow Pencils (the educational-based D&aD). Also nominated was Brain Training, Wii Sports, Buzz!, and Shadow of Colossus. We’re looking forward to seeing LocoRoco take another one for the team!

Gregg Tavares, a LocoRoco developer who will soon be answering questions to Beyond Loco, revealed some very interesting LocoRoco cheats today. Everytime something is about to happen in any level, the game will give you a very freaky signal. It sure takes some time to get everything in order, but hey, it’s worth a try right? Go here and follow the directions from Tavares and you might be on your way to cheating through LocoRoco.
[Thanks JC].

Our friends at Beyond Loco have snagged an interview with Gregg Tavares, a LocoRoco developer and the man who helped tip us off on Kotaku’s misleading Japan Hates LocoRoco post. littlevish, the administrator and founder, has announced that Tavares will be answering a variety of questions in addition to numerous user-made questions. There’s only one way to get your questions answered. You have to join. Stay tuned.

Now, Bethesda is looking towards bringing a mobile edition to the PSP sometime in the Fall or near the holiday season. Even though the game is very much like its console siblings, it will take place in a different area and carry a different storyline than Oblivion did. Perhaps not much is known of this game just yet, but we can speculate, aye? (more…)
