Previewrama :: Crisis Core
*******************

Square Enix has never shown some love for the PSP, so it’s finally time to deliver. At least in Japan, Square Enix is planning to make it big with numerous Final Fantasy remakes. But, we all have played them before, right? We’re looking for something original. Square Enix plans to deliver with Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, which is expected to arrive sometime in the Summer or Fall in Japan, Europe, Australia, and here in the US. We’re crossing our fingers it will be a very enjoyable experience, mainly because VII remakes have never been stellar (Dirge of Cerberus was perhaps one of the worst FF games yet). From what we’ve heard right now, it’s set to be a stellar game. And that’s exactly what will make Nintendy fanboys cry… (more…)

…And SONY and Nintendy Can’t Do This?
Feast your eyes on Microsoft’s oddball (yet effective) QWERTY keypad extension, coming this summer to a store near you. Even though regular keyboards can make their way into the USB port already, texting fans will enjoy this freak-of-nature. It’s compact, but big enough. It has many different features and will allow for many different capabilities on the 360. For one, Windows Live will finally be able to smoothly work and fast, too. My question is: why hasn’t SONY or even Nintendo thought of something like this? Sure, you can type cellphone style on your PSP, but who wants to when you can do something like this (for I imagine, not more than 60USD$)? The PSP and PS3 need this capability. And I’ll be the first one to call out Nintendo on this. All this bragging about their Opera web browser and it takes you 5 minutes to type a single sentence. Keyboard attachments like so: PSP and PS3 fanboys are desperate for them.
